Gaffney Starts to Increase Training Intensity

After a little more than five months away from basketball, Tony Gaffney is completely recovered from a foot injury. Light workouts have begun and the intensity of those workouts are expected to increase over the next few weeks. I recently spoke to Tony and his Dad and everyone is doing well and he is excited to get back into the swing of things.

Once again, Tony is drawing a great deal of interest from NBA teams (including the Celtics and Lakers) and is considering his options in terms of who to play with this summer. He is also looking to get back with his trainer down in Florida come June. At the present time it's all about getting back in shape for the rigors of NBA life. His main goals are to improve his upper body (size) and strength, work on his jumping and to continue to focus on his nutrition. Knowing Tony's unmatched work ethic - we all know that it is only a matter of time until he is back on "his journey to the NBA."
